The mark.
A tuning fork is a U with a stem. An orchestra reaches unison by tuning to one reference pitch; Unison clears every order against one reference price. The tines are the buyers and the sellers. The ball is the one price they meet at.
Three masters.
Drawn like a Didone letter and finished like a turned watch part, in three optical sizes, the way a dial's printing changes with its size.
One baseline.
Mark and wordmark set as one piece of type: the serifs on the cap line, the bowl on the baseline, the stem and ball hanging as a descender.
Clear space: one counter width on every side.
The wordmark: Bodoni Moda, outlined and spaced by hand.
The light follows the market.
Porcelain while Wall Street trades, Nocturne while it sleeps. The ball takes the light's own accent, flat and the same wherever the mark appears: blued steel by day, lifted for the black dial by night.

An escapement, not an animation.
The product moves the way a movement does: in beats, with nothing between them.
Nothing moves between beats.
The 300 ms batch is drawn as geometry, a sweep or a phase-lock, never as a flash.
The ball never moves.
On a fill the tines flex in antiphase by at most a pixel and settle within three beats. The reference stays still.
Lume charges; it never pulses.
Night glow follows traded volume, not a loop.
Reduced motion means none.
Every motion has a static cue, and with reduced motion only the cue remains.
